From Forgotten Corner to Favorite Escape
A once-unused villa side transformed into a space for connection, comfort, and light.
The Client’s Vision
Some projects begin with a challenge. This one began with a request.
“I want a space that feels private, yet naturally bright”
What the client had was a tight, underutilized side space.
What they imagined was a calm indoor-outdoor extension. A place to unwind, host, and simply be.
They loved warmth, loved gatherings, loved wood. And they knew exactly what they wanted.
It was up to Solace to make it real.
The Challenge
- A long, narrow “dead” space at the side of the villa
- A desire for privacy and natural sunlight, a rare combination
- A need to create a multi-purpose living space in a tight area
- A vision that balanced indoor comfort with outdoor openness
Our Approach
We started with intention not to fill a space, but to give it meaning.
Using the client’s love of wood as a foundation, we designed a fully customized glassroom that blended architecture with feeling. A space with height, light, movement, and purpose.
We brought privacy without walls. Warmth without heaviness. And elegance without excess. Every inch was designed to serve life as it’s actually lived.
The Transformation
- Skylit Privacy: We introduced a convertible roof system with double-height glazing. Sunlight streams in like a skylight. There was no compromise on light or seclusion.
- A Space that Breathes: Glass folding doors open the room completely into the garden, creating an airy connection perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
- Comfort for All Seasons: An A/C system ensures the room is usable year-round, a living space for summer and winter alike.
- Entertainment-Ready: A custom-built TV unit and elegant lighting make the room ideal for relaxed nights or lively events.
- Material-Driven Design: Wood became the soul of the space, chosen to reflect the client’s taste and create warmth in every detail.
The Result
From a forgotten corner came a favorite destination.
Now, it’s where the client starts their mornings, hosts their evenings, and finds peace in between.
A true extension of the home that is deeply personal, distinctly Solace.
At Solace, we believe it’s not about the space you have
It’s about what you create within it.
