The Client’s Vision
A frequent traveler and private homeowner, our client came to Solace with a very specific challenge. He owned a town-house villa that he used only when visiting Egypt and while the home met his needs, the garden had become an overlooked corner of the property. With no outdoor access other than from inside the house, the garden felt far from the low-maintenance haven he needed. What he wanted was not simply a makeover. He wanted the entire outdoor area to feel simple, self-sufficient, and truly his, ready and waiting for him, whenever he returned.

The Challenge

Our Approach
We started by listening to how the client lived and not just what he liked. He needed it all, in one place, with nothing left to chance. Solace approached the project with a clear directive: to maximize function without adding complexity. Our design mixed together greenery, relaxation, and smart systems into a space that didn’t just look beautiful, but behaved beautifully too.

The Transformation

1. Not Fragmented but All-in-One: We created an interconnected layout where every element was designed to work together without wasted space. The garden became one fluid experience, despite its size.
2. Not High-Maintenance but Fully Automated: All plant systems were connected to a smart irrigation system controlled from the client’s phone allowing full management while abroad.
3. Not Empty but Elevated: The new garden includes areas to lounge, read, and unwind. Despite the compact area, every detail feels intentional, from the finish of the flooring to the angle of the lighting.

The Result
A once inefficient outdoor area is now a private sanctuary: smart, simple, and always ready.
Whether he visits in summer or winter, day or night, the client now returns to a garden that needs no fixing, no cleaning, and no waiting.
